Experience the passionate perspectives only Latin and Spanish music can provide. From child prodigy Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga, we hear the vivid harmonic expressions of “Spanish Mozart.” While Aaron Copland explores the Latin American zeitgeist through his North American perspective, Astor Piazzolla thrills via a tango vibe, introducing the bandoneon.

The Celtic connection is evident in this delightful evening of music inspired by the people, cultures and landscapes of Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Finzi rhapsodizes the Severn river valley, Boyle interprets a poem about the mythical harp of the Dagda and then Mendelssohn explores the wild romantic landscapes of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.

BlueWater Chamber Orchestra is committed to expanding the boundaries of what a chamber orchestra can be.

Committed to welcoming new audiences while serving established chamber music aficionados, BlueWater celebrates the luminous world of inspiring chamber orchestra music. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Daniel Meyer we’re beginning a new era of lively creative performance and educational experiences. Reaching out to listeners via neighborhood-based programs that bring classical music directly to their doors, we perform at various venues across the region.
